Heidi or Schatzie
|
Schnauzers were the first breed I learned to groom. They often come in pairs. When they live together, they start to look
alike. This is either Heidi or Schatzie Grace in a short pet trim. |
| Duke is a long-haired Akita that I inherited. He often comes to work
and greets customers. In this shot he is watching me work. He is saying
"Wow, Mom, Is this what you do? Cool!" Duke is a good example of the
large, undercoated breeds we often groom. His grooming would be worth about
$60. Good thing his mom is the groomer!

Scotty

Scotty is elderly and crippled from an accident, but he still gets a
handsome look from his Auntie Barb. Pets like Scotty get extra special care
and attention. |

This is Snuffy Klein after THREE makeover groomings and months of coat
growth. Snuffy had been clipped to the bone! We call this "looking
Bichonly, at last". |

Lady

Lady is nine years old and has been groomed only by us. She comes twice a
month for this high maintenance full breed "look." There are many shorter
options available for pet Cockers. |

Puppies like little Yeti are
given exxxtra special care and a loving beginning to the grooming part of
life. Our emphasis is on getting acquainted with the groomer and the
procedures. It is really best when puppies come for their first grooming
around 12-16 weeks old. This is the best time for all socialization to
occur. A special puppy session will last only an hour or two at the most. |
